  • Optional operators working with your security team
  • A time-stamped record of every incident

Wardyn Technologies designs, builds and supports drone detection technology in Britain, the same kit used to protect critical national infrastructure. Their hired-in tower turns up pre-assembled, sets itself up and is giving your team a live picture of the sky within about an hour, with no groundworks, cabling or permanent mast.

Working together, we add drone detection to the support we already provide on site. Response plans, alert routes and escalation are agreed with your security lead before the event, and your team stays in charge throughout. It suits festivals, concerts, stadiums, motorsport, airshows, regattas, road races, film shoots and private or VIP events, from a single day to several weeks.

How it gets set up

The tower arrives pre-assembled and calibrates itself, so there’s no survey visit or long set-up. It’s usually giving your team a live picture within about an hour. Awkward sites or several towers can take longer, and this is agreed before booking.

  • Tower placed on the agreed spot
  • Raised and running on its own power in about 15 minutes
  • Sensors online in about 30 minutes
  • Alarm zones set to your site plan, live within the hour

What it does

Radar watches the sky day and night, in any weather, and tells drones apart from birds and aircraft. A zoom camera with thermal imaging then turns to confirm what it has found. Drones that broadcast their identity, as legal ones should, are picked up too.

  • Radar works in the dark and in bad weather
  • Camera and thermal imaging to confirm drones
  • Picks up drones that identify themselves
  • Alarm zones and alerts matched to your site

Alerts and evidence

Alerts go wherever your team needs them: the control room, phones, email or over the radio. Every confirmed drone creates a time-stamped record with its location and images, handed over at the end as a single file you can replay.

  • Alerts to event control, phones or radio
  • Time-stamped record of every incident
  • Location and images saved
  • Replayable file handed over afterwards

Working with your security team

Wardyn operators can work alongside your security team, but your security lead stays in charge. How to respond, who to call and when to escalate are all agreed before the event. Operators are optional, as the system will alarm without someone watching it.

  • Your security lead stays in charge
  • Response plans agreed before the event
  • Operators optional
  • Support through to pack-down

Hire options

The tower can be hired for anything from one day to several weeks, anywhere in the UK, and at short notice. Larger sites can use several towers linked together. Early booking is recommended for peak summer dates.

  • One day to multi-week hire
  • Anywhere in the UK
  • One tower or several for larger sites
  • No groundworks, cabling or venue power needed
